Lost Bodies' foothold in the Athenian scene stretches back all the way to 1985. By 1988, the band releases their first two tapes compiled of what's best been described as 'underground art-punk'. With 33 years to their name, Lost Bodies' continuous activity in the Athenian music scene has also spawned numerous albums on vinyl, CD, and audio cassette. The band's music is part of the alternative scene, demonstrating flexibility in both high-speed punk rock and more mellow, yet dark, music with influences taken from industrial rock, trip-hop, post-punk, all the way to funk, avant-garde and experimental fusions of acoustic, electric and electronic sound, combining prose, self-sarcasm and social satire.

Through the years, Lost Bodies have experimented in many fields, including music for cinema, contemporary dance, modern theater and ancient Greek tragedy. Examples of their work for these art forms are presented in this compilation. Their music functions as a soundtrack for the work of both other artists and fellow travelers who share a common vision.
